Job summary

Qualifications

• New Jersey Bar admission is required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• 1+ year in medical malpractice, personal injury, general liability, or healthcare litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, organization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities.
• Pennsylvania Bar admission is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Defend complex medical malpractice claims from inception through resolution.
• Manage litigation matters, deadlines, case strategy, and day-to-day client needs.
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related documents.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, negotiations, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Analyze medical records, liability issues, damages, and case-related evidence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and others.
• Work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and the team.
• Take initiative and identify practical solutions to complex litigation issues.
