Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an attorney for its New York City office to prosecute complex consumer and employment class and representative actions, including wage and hour disputes, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising claims. The role involves handling sophisticated litigation against regional, national, and large corporate defendants in both state and federal courts.

The candidate will manage all phases of litigation, from inception to resolution, including

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York.
• Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with discovery, motions, court appearances, and depositions.
• Willingness to travel periodically as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side class action and complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle cases involving wage and hour, consumer protection, discrimination, and unfair business practice claims.
• Conduct and manage all phases of discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Appear in state and federal court proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, oral arguments, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with litigation teams to develop case strategies and advance client objectives.
• Maintain communication with clients and provide updates regarding case developments.
