The role involves defending wage and hour class/collective actions, advising employers on regulations, and representing them in court and at mediations. JD from ABA-accredited school and 3+ years experience required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of experience in class action litigation defense.
• Admitted to the Washington Bar in good standing.
• Strong desire for early courtroom exposure.
• Understanding of current agency enforcement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Handle defense of agency charges of discrimination and employment-related lawsuits, including wage and hour class/collective actions.
• Advise and train employers on employment laws and regulations.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration on employment matters.
