Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) seeks a Placement Client Coordinator for the Agribusiness team. This role supports underwriting, data research, and administrative tasks across coverage and loss documents, using Excel and specialized systems to drive accurate decisions and seamless client service.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, a customer-service mindset, and adaptability to new software. Hybrid work setup, with emphasis on collaboration and professional growth within MMA.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of general business software including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• PDF Xchange/Adobe knowledge preferred.
• Access database knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a wide array of software products.

Responsibilities

• Assist Placement team with data research and analysis.
• Provide coverage/exposure analysis and recommendations.
• Support underwriting including submissions, bind requests and reviews.
• Manage Premium & Loss documents in Excel.
• Process notices of cancellation, non-renewals and reinstatements.
• Issue endorsements in rate/quote/issue systems; provide administrative support as directed.

A day in the life.

As our Placement Client Coordinator on the Agribusiness team, you will:

• Assist Placement team with the following as needed:
• Data research and analysis
• Providing coverage/exposure analysis and offering recommendations
• Providing underwriting support and review including submissions, bind requests (subjectivities, and exposure verification)
• Premium & Loss documents in Excel
• Processing of notices of cancellation, non-renewals, and reinstatements
• Issuing endorsements in rate/quote/issue system Provide administrative support as directed by Ag Placement AVP.

This individual must possess advanced knowledge of general business software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point. PDF Xchange/Adobe and Access database knowledge preferred. This individual will ideally possess a natural affinity towards learning and using a wide array of software products.Must possess a willingness to seek solutions to complex projects and issues, especially those that are software related.Must possess a customer service mindset, with the natural disposition to be helpful and aid others in the workplace wherever possible.Good communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers using tact and diplomacy.The ideal candidate will possess the ability to grow their knowledge within this position and advance into roles increasingly integral to the department.Reading, writing, mathematical skills that would normally be acquired through the acquisition of a high school diploma. Some college coursework is preferred.4 years of relevant administrative/clerical experience, with heavy utilization of Excel preferred.
