Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Leawood, KS is seeking a Placement Client Coordinator for the Agribusiness team. You will support placement activities, analyze data, and assist underwriting with submissions and rate/quote reviews.

This role emphasizes advanced MS Office proficiency, client service, and collaboration. You will manage Excel documents, processing notices, endorsements, and administrative tasks under the Ag Placement AVP. A hybrid work setup is offered with growth opportunities within MMA.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; PDF Xchange/Adobe and Access knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to tackle complex software-related issues with a solutions mindset.
• Customer service mindset with a collaborative attitude and helpful approach.
• Strong communication skills with tact and diplomacy in client and colleague interactions.
• Opportunity to grow within the department and take on increasing responsibilities.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills typically gained through a high school diploma; some college preferred.
• About 4 years of relevant administrative/clerical experience, with heavy use of Excel.

A day in the life.

As our Placement Client Coordinator on the Agribusiness team, you will:

• Assist Placement team with the following as needed:
• Data research and analysis
• Providing coverage/exposure analysis and offering recommendations
• Providing underwriting support and review including submissions, bind requests (subjectivities, and exposure verification)
• Premium & Loss documents in Excel
• Processing of notices of cancellation, non-renewals, and reinstatements
• Issuing endorsements in rate/quote/issue system
• Provide administrative support as directed by Ag Placement AVP.

• This individual must possess advanced knowledge of general business software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point. PDF Xchange/Adobe and Access database knowledge preferred. This individual will ideally possess a natural affinity towards learning and using a wide array of software products.
• Must possess a willingness to seek solutions to complex projects and issues, especially those that are software related.
• Must possess a customer service mindset, with the natural disposition to be helpful and aid others in the workplace wherever possible.
• Good communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers using tact and diplomacy.
• The ideal candidate will possess the ability to grow their knowledge within this position and advance into roles increasingly integral to the department.
• Reading, writing, mathematical skills that would normally be acquired through the acquisition of a high school diploma. Some college coursework is preferred.
• 4 years of relevant administrative/clerical experience, with heavy utilization of Excel preferred.
