Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking an F&B Cashier to support daily Food & Beverage operations by processing guest transactions with accuracy and maintaining cash control in a fast-paced setting.

You will ensure a clean, organized cashier area, deliver friendly service, and help sustain a safe, compliant environment while interacting with guests and team members throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cashiering experience required; restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• English language proficiency required.
• Must maintain cash handling accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, courteous guest service aligned with company standards.
• Manage cash bank and reconcile at end of shift.
• Process transactions (cash, credit, comps, voids, tips) in POS.
• Maintain accurate receipts and end-of-shift reports.
• Keep cashiering area clean and stocked.
• Comply with gaming laws, internal controls, Title 31, and regulations.
• Support fellow team members and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary: Summary: As the F&B Cashier, you play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department by efficiently processing guest transactions, maintaining cash control, and ensuring a clean and organized cashiering area. You contribute to exceptional guest experiences by delivering friendly and accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
• Accurately manage cash bank and reconcile at the end of the shift
• Process and verify all transactions, including cash, credit, comps, voids, and tips in the point-of-sale system
• Retain receipts for all transactions and complete necessary end-of-shift reports
• Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area, ensuring supplies are stocked
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 6 months of cashiering experience required; experience in a restaurant environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

Requirements

• At least 21 years
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
