Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking an F&B Cashier to support daily operations of the Food & Beverage department by processing guest transactions, maintaining cash control, and keeping the cashier area organized.

You will provide timely, courteous service in a fast-paced casino environment, handle cash, credit, and tips, and ensure compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cashiering experience required; experience in a restaurant environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture
• Accurately manage cash bank and reconcile at the end of the shift
• Process and verify all transactions, including cash, credit, comps, voids, and tips in the point-of-sale system
• Retain receipts for all transactions and complete necessary end-of-shift reports
• Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area, ensuring supplies are stocked
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
