Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a Food & Beverage Cashier in Las Vegas to support daily cashiering operations within a fast-paced casino environment. You will efficiently process guest transactions, manage cash, and maintain a clean cashiering area while delivering friendly service.

The role requires basic cashiering experience, strong communication, and teamwork. Compliance with gaming laws and internal controls is essential, and some duties may include additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cashiering experience required; experience in a restaurant environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Access to and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Accurately manage cash bank and reconcile at the end of the shift.
• Process and verify all transactions, including cash, credit, comps, voids, and tips in the point-of-sale system.
• Retain receipts for all transactions and complete necessary end-of-shift reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
