Domino's Pizza in the Washington DC metropolitan area is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, assist the General Manager, and ensure customer service excellence, food quality, and sanitation.

You will manage opening/closing, scheduling, cost controls, and staff development with hands-on leadership to motivate the team and deliver great pizza and service. Strong communication, multitasking, and cash handling are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Ensure customers feel welcome and staff are courteous and service-oriented.
• Supervise food quality, portioning, appearance and service to brand standards.
• Assist in opening, closing and prep lists.
• Lead by example with hands-on food prep and customer service.
• Support sales, service, cleanliness and sanitation goals through training.
• Manage cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
• Fill in where needed to maintain customer service standards.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure proper product receiving and counts.
• Identify labor or food cost drivers and take actions to improve figures.
• Assist in labor scheduling to match anticipated activity and budget.
