Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a Station Cook to expertly prepare and serve menu offerings across Grill, Pizza, Deli, Salad Bar, Seasonal, and Specialty stations. You will ensure food quality, safety, and a memorable dining experience for guests at a fast-paced location in Portland, Maine.

You will be part of a team delivering outstanding service, maintaining temperatures and records, and supporting a great dining experience with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality/food service experience.
• Basic knife skills are a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Self-motivated and eager to take on additional roles.
• Commitment to excellence in hospitality and providing a great dining experience.
• Ability to cross train and utilize multiple skills.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards to prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s).
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Serve food and any goods per guest specifications.
• Store foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation.
• Retain temperature logs and production records.
• Keep supplies replenished and may restock coolers or take inventory.
• Set up and break down stations, clean and sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Adhere to state and local food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain focus on customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and team members.
• Operate POS to complete orders and package to-go items.
