Job summary

Papa John’s is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and customer service while supporting restaurant profitability. You will help execute company policies, procedures, programs and systems, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical practices.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage staffing, inventory, and cash procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe or state food service certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shifts and work areas to ensure quality products and service.
• Manage operations following company policies, procedures, programs and systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical practices.
• Maintain shift coverage and provide immediate feedback to correct issues.
• Assist in inventory management and cash handling to support profitability.
