Sally's Apizza in Stamford, CT is seeking a Prep Cook to support a fast-paced kitchen focused on authentic New Haven-style pizza. You will label, stock, and measure ingredients, prep vegetables and meats, and ensure safe handling and storage of all items.

The role requires standing for long periods and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. The position offers full-time hours with benefits and a friendly, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza dough.
• Good time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
• Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
• Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area in all areas of the prep kitchen.
