Job summary

Sally’s Apizza is hiring a Prep Cook in Connecticut to join our kitchen team. You will label and stock ingredients, measure portions, and prepare cooking ingredients for our New Haven‑style pizzas.

You’ll set up workstations, maintain a clean, sanitary environment, and follow health regulations while working with a fast‑paced team. Prior kitchen prep or pizza dough experience is preferred, including weekend and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza dough.
• Good time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
• Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
• Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area in all areas of the prep kitchen.
• Assist with cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures and health regulations.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen and dining area.
• Complete any and all opening and closing duties in a timely manner.
