Job summary

NY Pie in Hendersonville is hiring Pizza Makers to join our fast-paced kitchen. We offer competitive pay from $18 to $23 per hour, including tips, based on experience, with potential to grow if you learn multiple roles. Flexible full- or part-time schedules.

Join a family-style pizzeria renowned for New York-style pizza and friendly service. You'll prepare dough, toppings, and bake pizzas, while maintaining sanitation and teamwork. Previous pizza making experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a pizza maker is required.
• Understanding of food sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to read orders from tickets and/or screen.

Responsibilities

• Pizza Preparation: Hand-stretching dough, saucing, topping, and baking pizzas consistently.
• Ingredient Prep: Preparing dough, chopping vegetables, making sauces, and slicing meats.
• Oven Management: Operating ovens (wood-fired, gas, or conveyor) and monitoring cooking.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Cleaning workstations, tools, and equipment; maintaining hygiene standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors of low inventory.
• Customer Service: Managing orders and serving customers.
