Job summary

Old Town Pizza is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team, ensuring the Good as Gold standard in every pizza we make. You will hire, evaluate, and schedule BOH staff, manage inventory, and uphold OTP quality and health standards.

You will coordinate training, produce operations reports, and support other managers in menu planning and service areas. This California role requires a strong kitchen background and leadership under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handlers Card required.
• Prior experience in related food service positions.
• Promotes positive public relations with guests.

Responsibilities

• Staff the kitchen according to expected output but without excess overhead.
• Order the correct amount of product to minimize inventory space but maximize efficiency.
• Inspect food preparation quality, appearance, and sanitation of production areas and equipment.
• Coordinate training activities for kitchen and service employees and design programs to address deficiencies.
• Assist other managers in areas such as plate presentation and menu planning.
