Job description

Job Title: Pizza Cook

Reports To: Chef

Roberta’s is looking for pizza cooks to join our team! Located in New York City since 2008, Roberta’s has been a pioneer in the boroughs’ food scene, offering Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas, artfully crafted cocktails, and a diverse natural wine program. As we continue to expand, we are seeking talented individuals to join our family and grow with us! No bad vibes!

Ideal Candidates:

1. At least 1 year of kitchen experience
2. Experience making Neapolitan style pizzas
3. Ability to hand stretch pizza dough
4. Proficiency in pizza production using a handcrafted pizza oven
5. Ability to work smoothly during busy service hours
6. Exceptional attention to detail
7. Experience working in high-volume environments
8. Compliance with DOH standards
9. Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ pounds, work in hot and cold conditions, and be available during nights and weekends

Qualifications:

1. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual
2. Positive attitude, respectful, and a team player
3. Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
