Job description

Job Title: Pizza Cook

Reports To: Chef

Roberta’s is looking for pizza cooks to join our team! Located in New York City, Roberta’s opened in 2008 and has been a pioneer in the boroughs’ food scene, offering Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas, artfully crafted cocktails, and a diverse natural wine program. We are actively expanding and seeking talented individuals to join our family and grow with us! No bad vibes!

Ideal Candidates:

1. At least 1 year of kitchen experience
2. Experience making Neapolitan style pizzas
3. Hand stretch pizza dough
4. Master pizza production in a handcrafted pizza oven
5. Ability to work a busy service smoothly
6. Exceptional eye for detail
7. Experience working in high volume environments
8. Follow Department of Health (DOH) standards
9. Able to stand for long periods, lift 50+ pounds, withstand hot and cold working conditions, and be available for nights and weekends

Qualifications:

1. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual
2. Great attitude, respectful, and a team player
3. Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
