Position Summary

Responsible for efficiently preparing and portioning food items while adhering to food safety, portioning, and recipe guidelines to ensure ingredients are available for daily use.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and other food items for cooking in our pizza oven.
• Ensure the quality of all products served.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies.
• Maintain sufficient food stock levels during service.
• Portion food prior to cooking according to recipes.
• Keep workstations clean and sanitary.
• Assist with tasks from the prep or shift manager as needed.
• Support station cooks at all times.
• Properly handle, store, and rotate products.
• Participate in food prep during off-peak hours.
• Attend team meetings and suggest improvements.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

No experience necessary; 1 year of kitchen experience preferred. Ability to work in hot, loud environments, reach, bend, stand for long periods (up to 5 hours), and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
