Position Overview

The Pit Stop Development Coach is the primary leader of the Pit Stop Development Group (PDG) — a joint development program between 23XI Racing and LEGACY Motor Club. The PDG is a shared resource, jointly funded and operated between the two organizations, dedicated to identifying, developing, and preparing athletes for pit crew roles at the NASCAR Cup Series level. The Pit Stop Development Coach is responsible for the full operation of the PDG program, from practice leadership and film instruction to player evaluation and recruiting support, and operates under the oversight of the Head Coach to ensure consistency in standards and coaching direction across all levels of the program.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

  • Lead all PDG film sessions — reviewing practice film with PDG athletes to identify technical deficiencies, reinforce coaching points, and track individual player development over time.
  • Educate PDG players on at-track preparation and race weekend expectations, ensuring athletes understand what is required of them before stepping onto pit road at the Cup Series level.
  • Ensure PDG athletes are held to the same standards of technique, professionalism, and accountability as primary team personnel across both 23XI Racing and LEGACY Motor Club.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for PDG athletes on matters related to practice, development, scheduling, and standards.
  • Actively partner with both 23XI Racing and LEGACY Motor Club athletic departments to ensure equal access to resources and co-managed athlete development workflows.
  • Maintain familiarity with NASCAR rules, regulations, and standard pit stop choreography.
