Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to provide direction to the project team to complete projects on time while upholding quality, safety and customer loyalty. You will lead field personnel, plan production of contracted scope, coordinate with trades and inspectors, and ensure installations meet IMC/IPC/IBC standards.

Travel within Florida is expected to support project sites, while upholding Power Design's values of integrity, teamwork and innovation.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems.
  • Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path.
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
  • Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred.
  • Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design's core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth

About The Position...

The mechanical superintendent position at Power Design is a critical leadership role responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality, safety and customer loyalty.
