Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field crews, coordinate with trades, and ensure projects meet quality, safety, and schedule targets. The role emphasizes accountability, customer satisfaction, and the use of technology to streamline field operations.

Candidate should bring 5+ years of field supervision in mechanical/HVAC projects, relevant licenses, and knowledge of IMC/IPC/IBC codes. Travel within Florida and relocation options may be available for the right fit.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience with refrigeration HVAC systems, VRF/VRV systems.
  • Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path.
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
  • Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred.
  • Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth

  • Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.
