Job summary

Genex Systems is seeking a Maintenance Pipe Planner/Scheduler to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) contract at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating piping maintenance to keep facilities running safely and reliably.

You will develop work packages, coordinate labor and materials, and produce weekly and long-range plans while maintaining CMMS records (Maximo).

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Six (6) years of related maintenance experience with piping.
Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing.
Proficient with CMMS and project planning tools.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown piping maintenance activities.
Develop detailed work packages including scope, labor, tools, materials, and estimated hours.
Review work requests and prioritize based on safety, impact, and criticality.
Coordinate outages and maintenance windows with facilities.
Ensure materials and parts are available before work begins.
Prepare weekly and long-range maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS (Maximo).
Support center turnaround and shutdown planning activities.
Participate in safety observation program and pre-job planning.
Coordinate with procurement for piping materials.
