Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Hagerstown, MD, is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler responsible for effectively planning and scheduling maintenance work with material procurement through CMMS. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of planning experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance planning experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of maintenance methods, tools, equipment, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Experience working with vendors and managing projects or programs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize maintenance work using CMMS.
• Plan jobs by estimating labor, materials, tools, and skills needed.
• Prepare and organize all required resources and ensure readiness before scheduling.
• Oversee work order backlog, scheduling, inventory usage, and procurement.
• Improve maintenance processes by analyzing trends and developing procedures.
