Job summary

Genexsystems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) contract at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. This role emphasizes improving equipment reliability and providing technical guidance to maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years of related experience or an MS degree with less experience. Knowledge of CMMS systems like IBM Maximo is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel as needed.
• Experience in a utility or research environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and operations teams with troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Analyze equipment failures and lead root cause analyses.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for electrical assets.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and industry standards.
