Job summary

ColonialWebb in Richmond, VA is seeking a Piping Helper - Construction to support layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems on commercial projects. You will assist with tool setup, material handling, and coordinating with the Foreman on site.

The role requires basic math, manual dexterity, and teamwork. We offer competitive pay ($19–$28/hr), a 401(k) plan with company match, PTO/paid holidays, and comprehensive health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules, procedures, and practices on site.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and devices during installation.
• Perform minor maintenance on tools and keep them clean.
• Set up tools and equipment and provide Foreman with necessary supplies.
• Material handling and backfill as directed by plumbers/mechanics.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Piping Helper - ConstructionThe primary responsibility of the Plumbing/Pipefitter Helper is to assist with lay out, assembly, installation, maintenance and repairs of pipes, fittings, fixtures of heating/water/drainage systems, piping, piping systems, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial processing systems according to specifications and codes.
