Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Helper to join our Industrial Refrigeration team in Harrisonburg, VA. You will assist with layout, fabrication, assembly, and installing of piping systems for ammonia, steam, hot water, and processing equipment.

Travel is required to service customers across NC, SC, VA, and TN. We offer 1–2 years of plumbing/pipefitting experience as a plus, competitive pay from $16 to $27 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial/industrial plumbing or pipefitting experience.
• Knowledge of piping systems.
• Basic construction/shop math (addition, subtraction, division, fractions, multiplication).
• Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lay out, fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance and repairs of piping, piping systems, and industrial processing.
• Load and unload construction materials from trucks and into buildings.
• Furnish experienced craft worker with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials during installation.
• Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety rules.
