Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Piping General Foreman to lead field crews, ensure quality and safety, and drive on-site success for mechanical projects in Florida. You will train staff, coordinate with customers and inspectors, and work with multiple trades to resolve conflicts while upholding code compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, HVAC/plumbing expertise, and a track record of delivering multimillion-dollar projects. Some travel within Florida is expected.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred or higher.
• Experience with hydronic piping, chiller, boiler, and water-source heat pump systems.
• Progressive mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing leadership with tech affinity.
• 5+ years as field supervisor on multimillion-dollar projects.
• Journeyman/Master license preferred; solid knowledge of codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and GC to resolve conflicts while delivering excellent service.
• Ensure installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage material and personnel requirements to meet schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s quality, safety and best practices.

Skills

OSHA 30 certification

Hydronic piping experience

Leadership in HVAC/Plumbing

5+ years field supervision

Journeyman/Master license preferred

Building codes knowledge (IMC/IPC/IBC)

PM software familiarity

Travel flexibility in FL

Education
