Job summary

You will develop layouts, perform field design checks, prepare material take-offs, and support startup activities. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Microstation plus MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
• 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Knowledge of piping materials, supports, and valves sizing.
• Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD and Microstation; familiarity with vendor drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complete mechanical/piping design assignments under supervision.
• Develop piping drawings from P&ID’s, GA’s, and specs.
• Prepare material take-offs from piping drawings.
• Plan and manage site design activities for optimum results.
• Provide on-site design support during startup.
