Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Piping Designer IV in Pasadena, TX to support complete mechanical/piping designs under general supervision. You will draft, review, and develop piping drawings from P&ID’s, GA’s, and equipment layouts, while coordinating with clients and field teams.

The role requires an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD and 4+ years of industry experience in piping drafting, with strong AutoCAD (2D) and Microstation skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is required.
• 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Knowledge of piping materials, supports, and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete designs of mechanical/piping assignments under supervision.
• Develop piping drawings from P&ID’s, GA’s, and equipment drawings.
• Conduct field design work to assess current conditions and interact with clients.
• Prepare material take-offs and estimate task completion.
• Assist in startup and on-site support as needed.
