Job summary

Jacobs is seeking engineering interns to join our Life Sciences North America team in the United States. You’ll explore Process & Building Mechanical Piping Design and Plumbing / Materials Engineering on real projects, applying classroom knowledge to solve practical problems.

You will perform system design calculations, coordinate with other trades, and progress from basic design tasks to more complex projects under Professional Engineers and Design Leads, while developing time management and

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including Process & Mechanical Piping, for buildings and facilities
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Provide system design calculations and related design services under guidance of Professional Engineers and Design Leads
• Coordinate with designs of other trades (architectural and engineering)
• Progress from basic design work to more complex projects with a technical team
