Job summary

Jacobs is seeking engineering interns to join our Life Sciences North America team in various locations. You will apply theory to real projects, delivering engineering services and solving client challenges locally and worldwide.

Responsibilities include design calculations, coordinating with other trades, and taking ownership of work quality. Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in mechanical or civil engineering with Revit/3D CAD skills and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a BS degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including Process & Mechanical Piping.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate with other trades (architectural and engineering) under Professional Engineers guidance.
• Progress from basic design work to more complex projects with a technical team.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of work assigned.
