Job summary

PCI is seeking a Pipette Technician I to support the Pipette Services Team on-site. This non-exempt role involves learning calibrations, performing basic pipette and balance calibrations, and completing GMP/GXP documentation under supervision.

You will maintain safe work areas, follow SOPs, provide customer service, and track time and expenses weekly. A high school diploma is required; biotech certification is a plus. Occasional travel up to 50% may be requested and professionalism is essential.

Qualifications

• Extreme attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with few errors.
• Ability to multi-task with little oversight.
• Understanding of customer service principles and basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Learns and performs basic pipette and balance calibrations and PMs.
• Learns and completes proper GXP documentation for calibrations performed.
• Learns safety guidelines and reports potential hazards.
• Trains and follows SOPs for calibration of instruments.
• Provides customer service as mentored by experienced technicians.
• Completes timesheets and expense reports weekly with accurate labor and expense codes.
• Demonstrates professionalism and provides regular updates to seniors and team leaders.
