Stantec seeks a highly skilled environmental permitting professional to join our Gulf region team in a flexible location. You will lead midstream pipeline permitting projects in the US, coordinating with agencies and stakeholders to secure regulatory approvals.

The role emphasizes strong technical writing, client relationship management, and adherence to HSSE policies while advancing energy transition initiatives, including hydrogen and CCS projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years work experience in a similar position.
• 5+ years direct experience preparing, managing and authoring FERC permit applications.
• Experience coordinating with agencies on Threatened and Endangered Species, 404/10, CZMA, and Section 106 resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition projects nationwide.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination related to species, 404/10, CZMA, and Section 106 resources.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and support proposal development.
• Create technical documents and review materials supporting regulatory submissions.
• Support implementation of Health, Safety and Environment policies in all project phases.
• Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory Specialists to ensure consistency in project execution.
• Contribute to a larger midstream permitting team with opportunities across offices.
