Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a terminal operator to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures. The role involves monitoring pipeline equipment, regulating product flow, performing inspections, and maintaining detailed shift records on a rotating 12‑hour schedule.

The candidate must have a valid TWIC card, a driver's license, and be fluent in English. OSHA safety standards, a clean background, and reliable transportation are required for this on-site

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Must possess a valid TWIC card and a driver’s license.
• Age 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Stable work history with good references.
• Pass a drug screen, medical exam, and background check.
• Speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pipeline equipment (meters, flows, HMIs) to ensure proper operation.
• Regulate product flow through pipelines and caverns per procedures and regulations.
• Maintain awareness of safety protocols and observe for abnormalities or unsafe conditions.
• Follow scheduling orders and conduct line-ups for deliveries/receipts.
• Perform inspections and maintain records for station, wellhead, and pipelines.
• Adhere to SPCC plans, LOPs, and site checklists for surveillance and housekeeping.
• Validate LOTO procedures during maintenance activities.
• Record daily operations and relay information during shift turnovers.
• Support facility housekeeping and ensure a safe, organized environment.
• Work in accordance with EHS policies to protect personnel and environment.
