Job summary

Tallgrass in the United States is seeking an entry-level Pipeline/Facilities Technician. Level 1 training lasts roughly six to twelve months to progress. You will help install, operate, and maintain gas/liquid pipelines, compressor stations, pump stations, and related facilities.

Responsibilities include patrolling, locating, excavation inspection, and ensuring compliance with Company procedures and regulatory requirements. A valid driver’s license is required and MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with possible substitute experience.
• OQ progression requirements and safety certifications expected.
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/Access/Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors and related equipment.
• Start/stop engines and pumps within operating parameters and perform minor repairs.
• Inspect and repair valves, pipe and appurtenances; assist with excavation safety.
• Locate and mark facilities per Damage Prevention Program prior to excavation.
• Provide supervision and training to company and third-party personnel as needed.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.
