Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC is seeking a Mechanic to install, operate, and maintain natural gas liquid processing facilities with emphasis on complex operations. Responsibilities include maintaining gas/liquid pipelines and related equipment, with opportunities to work on site and handle multiple tasks under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of direct work experience may substitute for a degree.
• Knowledge of compressor/pump station operations and gas/liquid processing fundamentals.
• Must obtain/maintain Operator Qualifications (OQ) and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate compressors, engines, pumps, valves and related equipment.
• Monitor process variables (pressure, temperature, flow) to meet operating targets.
• Start/stop equipment to maintain designated parameters and perform maintenance/repairs.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective operation of gas and liquid processing units.
• Assist with safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance tasks.
