Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC is seeking a field technician to install, operate and maintain gas/liquid pipelines, compressor stations, and related facilities. The role emphasizes safety, damage prevention, and hands-on mechanical work.

You will patrol, locate, inspect, and participate in excavation activities, with training provided for Operator Qualifications. Travel and occasional overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Willingness to achieve and maintain all Operator Qualifications (OQ) and progression requirements.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves and instruments.
• Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipe, and pipeline appurtenances.
• Locate and mark facilities per Company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to excavation.
• Provide oversight and inspection to ensure asset protection and compliance with procedures.
