Job summary

Tallgrass Energy Partners is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to operate compressors, engines, pumps and related equipment at GAS processing facilities in Nebraska. The role requires adherence to safety standards and regular shift work, including weekends if needed.

You will monitor process variables, participate in planning maintenance, and communicate with control centers and field teams to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years direct work experience may substitute for degree.
• Knowledge of compressor or pump station operations and gas/liquid processing basics.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate compressors, engines, turbines, pumps and related equipment.
• Monitor pressure, temperature and flow to meet operating targets.
• Start/stop engines, pumps and other equipment to maintain parameters.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and controls.
• Ensure cost-efficient performance of gas and liquid processing units.
