Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a responsible Operations Specialist to remotely control, operate, and maintain the integrity of the company’s pipeline assets. You will monitor leak detection, coordinate nominations, and develop daily plans to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 1–5 years in oil and gas, a high school diploma, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years of direct oil and gas experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Remotely control, operate and maintain pipeline systems.
• Monitor leak detection and respond to alarms.
• Schedule and coordinate nominations with teams and customers.
• Develop daily operating plans for pipeline systems.
• Maintain shift turnover documentation and CRM entries.
• Communicate clearly with operators and field staff.
• Work non-traditional hours and occasional travel as needed.
