Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a field operations professional to implement the Company Damage Prevention Program, including patrolling, locating, construction inspection, and excavation inspection of gas/liquids pipelines and facilities in Minnesota.

You will perform and document operations to maintain reliability and compliance, coordinate public awareness, liaise with landowners and officials, train staff, and ensure safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark facilities prior to and during excavations per program and One-Call procedures.
• Conduct pipeline patrols, density surveys, leak detection, and inspections per procedures.
• Coordinate Damage Prevention and Public Awareness activities and document as required.
• Provide oversight to ensure asset protection and compliance near excavation sites.
• Represent the Company with landowners, public officials, and emergency personnel.
• Train and supervise personnel and contractors per policies.
• Perform governmental compliance activities and document accordingly.
• Map, recordkeep, and enter data per Company policies.
• Identify and address safety and environmental concerns.
• Conduct right-of-way inspections and evaluate geotechnical risks.
• Maintain documentation and perform work per standards and tariffs.
