Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Maintenance Worker - Pipeline to perform maintenance and repair of water and wastewater pipelines across multiple NTMWD systems. The role includes grounds work, line repairs, and providing labor support during emergencies under supervision of the Lead Maintenance Worker and Maintenance Services Manager.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, handling tools and equipment, and supporting operations during on-call periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Experience in a trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general grounds and facilities maintenance.
• Repairs and replaces water and sewer lines as needed.
• Provides labor support to NTMWD systems.
• Observes safety practices and uses safety equipment.
• Responds to emergency situations as directed by supervisor.
• On-call status and overtime may be required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
