North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) seeks a Maintenance Worker-Facility Maintenance to support multiple systems with semi-skilled tasks, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs. Under direct supervision, you will handle building upkeep, install doors/windows, painting, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and equipment inspections.

You will work on roofing, HVAC, and pipeline coatings, identify irrigation issues, clean pump stations, and assist with safety, while overtime may be required to

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Texas Structural Pesticide Applicators License preferred.
• Texas Herbicide Applicators License preferred.
• Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to work orders and special projects as directed by the Facility Maintenance Crewleader.
• Assists in maintaining corporate buildings and grounds in top condition.
• Maintains a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance and repair projects.
• Performs basic facility and/or maintenance repairs.
• Performs weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance, repair, and installation in connection with roofing, plumbing, HVAC systems and exterior and interior of buildings.
• Performs prep and painting of protective coatings on NTMWD pipelines and appurtenances.
• Identifies and troubleshoot problems with irrigation systems and make repairs as necessary.
• Participates in regular cleanings of pump stations and outer facilities to remove debris and treat for insects.
• Inspect properties to identify pest infestations and weed overgrowth and apply appropriate treatment.
• Works overtime when needed in order to prevent disruption of District activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
