Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking personnel for construction and maintenance of a pipeline system in Andrews, TX. You will perform installation, maintenance, and removal work on transmission and distribution pipelines while handling tools and heavy equipment.

The role requires knowledge of manual tools, reading maps/blueprints, and basic arithmetic. Valid driver’s license and safety training are expected, with occasional travel to job sites and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

Knowledge of manual tools and equipment used in pipeline work.
Basic arithmetic (add/sub/mul/div) may be tested.
Understanding of transmission/distribution pipeline systems.
Experience with confined spaces and safety procedures.
Ability to read maps, blueprints, and job orders.
Fluent reading/writing of English required.

Responsibilities

Perform pipeline construction, installation, maintenance, and removal on transmission and distribution pipelines.
Load, unload, and operate tools and equipment listed in responsibilities.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment (fueling, lubricants, oil changes).
Investigate customer orders and emergencies (low pressure, leaks, fires, etc.).
Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
Travel over uneven terrain and work in excavations or confined spaces.
