Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a journey level nonexempt Field Operator to perform pipeline maintenance, pigging, right-of-way upkeep, and equipment repairs under general supervision. The role covers line locating, gauger rotation, and on-call responsiveness, with emphasis on safety, environmental integrity, and customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, basic math skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safety is a top priority in daily operations.
• Follow manuals, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain pipeline ROW, pigging schedules, and equipment.
• Oversee small maintenance and expansion projects with supervision.
• Fill in for gaugers when needed.
• Monitor system for gain/loss issues and assess volumes.
• Service and maintain field pumps and LACT units.
• Inspect for leaks and perform line locating duties.
• Record documentation and complete paperwork accurately.
• Work with customers and colleagues to ensure service excellence.
