Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a journey-level, nonexempt employee to support pipeline maintenance, pigging, ROW upkeep, and field operations across facilities. You will work under general supervision, collaborate with contractors, and assist gaugers when needed.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient problem-solving in outdoor industrial environments, with potential DOT testing and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals).
• Apply common sense to day-to-day operations.
• Ability to make quick, reasonable decisions in adverse conditions.
• Valid state operating license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Make safety a top priority each day.
• Ensure compliance with manuals and policies.
• Make environmental integrity a priority each day.
• Maintain pipeline by following pigging schedule, maintain ROW, repair equipment.
• Lead small maintenance/expansion projects: assess scope, procure materials, supervise work.
• Fill in for gaugers when needed.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Gain/Loss issues; ensure fair volume assessments.
