Tallgrass is seeking an entry-level Field Technician to install, operate and maintain gas/liquid pipelines, compressor stations and related facilities in Kansas. You will participate in patrols, inspections and excavation safety programs, progressing with OQ training to advance to the next level.

The role requires basic math, strong safety focus and the ability to work non-traditional hours, with oversight of field crews and third-party contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be willing to achieve and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQ).
• Proficient in basic math and measurements.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose, repair engines, turbines, pumps, valves and instruments.
• Locate and mark facilities as per Damage Prevention Program before excavation.
• Oversee and train company and third-party personnel as required.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
