Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a skilled Electrician/Control Technician to implement and maintain electrical power circuits and automation equipment for pipelines, pumps, compressors, and measurement facilities.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration while ensuring regulatory and tariff compliance. The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to work non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field required.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of National Electric Codes and safety procedures.
• Ability to estimate installation and maintenance costs.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle electrical and control system integrity including design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC, pneumatic and electronic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers and related equipment.
• Conduct I & M checks on control systems and maintain switch gear and power distribution.
• Lead changes from analysis and implement improvements.
• Ensure safety/environmental compliance and maintain documentation.
