Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Pipeline and Terminal Operations professional to repair, maintain, and operate gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. You will ensure safe, reliable throughput, interpret technical drawings, and lead crews when needed.

You will plan and coordinate work with staff and contractors, manage inventories and outages, and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting safety initiatives and on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record and ability to be certified as a USDOT driver under FMCSA may be required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station or pump station equipment, plant facilities and pipeline facilities including prime movers and compressors, valves, filters, separators, dehydrators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment to meet production and product throughput requirements in a reliable and efficient manner while complying with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, communicate, and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule work and outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate resources.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, loading/pump curves, OEM manuals, and other technical resources in performance of assigned work.
• Use hand and power tools and equipment in hazardous and non-hazardous environments safely.
• Utilize precision measurement equipment to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, inventory, and required documentation.
• Provide training and leadership to develop work crews as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete related documentation.
• Maintain facilities and work areas in a safe, orderly manner.
• Participate in safety programs and follow policies.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
