Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Field Technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, reliable operation of gas and liquid infrastructure. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and responsive issue resolution.

Responsibilities include inspecting valves, pumps, tanks, and related equipment; coordinating with contractors; ensuring regulatory compliance; and supporting on-call activities as needed to maintain continuous

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump station equipment.
• Conduct Damage Prevention activities including pipeline patrols, one-calls, locating and marking pipelines, and inspecting line crossings and excavations.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete related documentation.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities; coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
