Zusammenfassung

Energy Transfer seeks an Electrical Technician to support pipeline electrical maintenance across multiple facilities. You will work under supervision yet remain highly self-directed, coordinating with technicians for repairs and improvements to electrical equipment.

The role requires a Journeyman license, familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and protection relays, and the ability to perform physical outdoor work and safety-critical tasks. Excellent preparation and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in electrical/electronics or equivalent with 2–5 years pipeline electrical maintenance experience.
• Journeyman or Journeyman Class Electrician, qualified to work on 13,200 volt and below.
• General familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), ladder logic, electrical control circuitry, VFDs, and protective relays.

Aufgaben

• Motivated and self-directed; may coordinate with other technicians and receive assignments from Technical Supervisor.
• Interpret test results and recommend corrective actions for major electrical equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, installations, overhauls, and safety checks as required by DOT and company policies.
• Investigate and diagnose problems, restoring equipment and facilities to proper operation; may supervise contract workers.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and order materials as needed, ensuring accurate records.
• Use required safety equipment and work in potentially hazardous areas; 24-hour emergency call-out readiness.
